What Are Reaction Training Lights?
Reaction training lights are wireless, programmable lights used to train the connection between what your eyes see, what your brain processes, and how fast your body responds. Athletes, coaches, physical therapists, and performance specialists use them to measure and improve reaction time, cognitive agility, coordination, and neuromuscular speed — the qualities that separate good athletes from elite ones.
The concept is straightforward: lights activate in a sequence or pattern, and the user must deactivate them as quickly as possible — by touch, by proximity, by hand, foot, or any body part relevant to their sport or rehabilitation protocol. HOW DO REACTION TRAINING LIGHTS WORK?
Each light in a FITLIGHT® system is a wireless, LED patented sensor that connects to the FITLIGHT® app via WiFi or Bluetooth. The app controls which lights activate, in what sequence, at what speed, and with what sensitivity. When a light activates, the user must deactivate it — either by touching it (impact activation) or by moving close to it (proximity activation, unique to FITLIGHT®). The system records the exact time between activation and deactivation, building a precise performance picture over every session.
